This is a Northern Arapaho Strike-A-Lite bag, a type of utilitarian pouch historically used  to carry fire-making tools like flint, carbon steel, and tinder. Since traditional Plains clothing lacked pockets, these cases were designed to hang from a belt or sash for easy access.  It is crafted from native-tanned hide—and decorated with colorful glass trade beads in geometric patterns. It features characteristic metal tin cones (jingles) along the fringe and flap,

  •  Shipping
In the Continuous U.S. and Canada, most Items will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail, UPS, or Federal Express.If paying by credit card, items will be shipped within 3 business days after  receipt of payment.  If paying by check, shipment will be made within 3  days after check has cleared, usually 7-10 days.  Unless  previously agreed, customer will be charged for the shipping and Insurance.  Items on the website designated as free shipping will not be charged for shipping and insurance costs.

 

  • Inspection Policy

In the Continuous U.S. and Canada, with every purchase we allow for a provisional 14 day inspection period. If for any reason you do not want to keep an item that you have purchased, simply return the item in original condition within 14 days of receipt. After inspection, you will be refunded the purchase price. Return shipping not included.

Each of our pieces is unique and carefully photographed. If we feel that the returned piece is in any way damaged, or different than the piece that we originally sent, we will return the item to you and no refund will be offered or made.
