Mexican Folk Art Copper Bat Mask with Intimidating Face
Early to mid 20th century Mexican folk art bat mask. As early as 1900, masks created in this form were made in the mountains of northwest Guerroas, Mexico. They were hand crafted by the locals, members of the Nahua people. This mask is made of hammered copper and polychrome painted, depicting a bat combined with a human head. The back of the mask is lined with gauze in the face region for comfort and has a protruding chin rest.

If for any reason you do not want to keep an item that you have purchased, simply return the item in original condition within 14 days of receipt. After inspection, you will be refunded the purchase price. Return shipping not included.
