This vintage sterling silver flask is a beautiful example of a miniature canteen, historically used as a scent bottle for perfume or a tobacco/snuff canteen. The design features intricate, hand-stamped patterns, specifically a central eight-petaled floral rosette framed by delicate scalloped  engraved details.
Crafted in a style often associated with Navajo silversmithing or Victorian chatelaine accessories, this "oval mouth" bottle includes a connected chain for secure carrying or attachment to a belt or necklace. Similar handmade antique pieces from the late 19th to mid-20th century typically serve as both functional containers and wearable art, reflecting high-relief repoussé or engraved craftsmanship.

In the Continuous U.S. and Canada, most Items will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail, UPS, or Federal Express.If paying by credit card, items will be shipped within 3 business days after  receipt of payment.  If paying by check, shipment will be made within 3  days after check has cleared, usually 7-10 days.  Unless  previously agreed, customer will be charged for the shipping and Insurance.  Items on the website designated as free shipping will not be charged for shipping and insurance costs.

 

  • Inspection Policy

In the Continuous U.S. and Canada, with every purchase we allow for a provisional 14 day inspection period. If for any reason you do not want to keep an item that you have purchased, simply return the item in original condition within 14 days of receipt. After inspection, you will be refunded the purchase price. Return shipping not included.

Each of our pieces is unique and carefully photographed. If we feel that the returned piece is in any way damaged, or different than the piece that we originally sent, we will return the item to you and no refund will be offered or made.
