CASED ROBBINS & LAWRENCE PEPPERBOX REVOLVER / PISTOL
A fine example of a Cased Robbins and Lawrence pepperbox revolving pistol, .28 Cal. Marked on ribs Robbins and Lawrence-Windsor VT-Leonards patent 1849. Serial number 27xx. In overall excellent shape retaining much of the original finish with original chased decoration, walnut handles, original walnut case lined in dark purple velvet with shooting accessories- Ramrod/barrel wrench, powder flask, cap box, Oil/grease tin and loose round balls.

The browned barrels one scroll engraved at breech. 20% of blue remains on frame, which is also scroll engraved. The walnut grips are fine with no chips. Overall condition of gun is excellent. Case shows wear inside and out. Lid of case has a slight warp, see pictures.

In the Continuous U.S. and Canada, with every purchase we allow for a provisional 14 day inspection period. If for any reason you do not want to keep an item that you have purchased, simply return the item in original condition within 14 days of receipt. After inspection, you will be refunded the purchase price. Return shipping not included.
Each of our pieces is unique and carefully photographed. If we feel that the returned piece is in any way damaged, or different than the piece that we originally sent, we will return the item to you and no refund will be offered or made.
